A world leading Insurance company is looking for a skilled Business Developer to take responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with a group of intemediaries in the South of England.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Building strong external and internal relationships at a variety of levels.
- Acquiring and developing profitable business by discovering and converting business opportunities.
- Utilising negotiation skills to work with brokers to achieve profitable growth and retention of existing business.
- Utilising key account management techniques.
- Monitoring the performance of brokers on the panel reporting monthly on target.
- Responsible for all aspects of territory/account/client management.
- Understanding and communicating company strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a good exposure to Business Development in a similar role in either a Personal Lines or Commercial Insurance role.
